Man accused of stealing drugs from pharmacies

JUNEAU - A 44-year-old Sheboyban man has charges filed against him for burglarizing Aurora Pharmacies, including the one in Lomira.

Randall Graham is charged with felony charges of burglary to a building or a dwelling, possession with intent to deliver non-narcotics and criminal damage to property. The charges were filed in Dodge County on Dec. 12.

If convicted of the charges in Dodge County, he could face up to 22 years in prison. However he faces additional similar charges in Kewaunee, Washington, Manitowoc and Ozaukee counties.

According to the criminal complaint in Dodge County, deputies responded on June 19 to a burglary alarm that started at Aurora Pharmacy, 375 East Ave., Lomira, around 4 a.m.

A similar burglary had occurred earlier in the night at the Aurora Pharmacy in Kewaskum. During that incident, an officer had gotten into an altercation with the suspect but he was able to drive away in a tan mini-van.

When deputies arrived at the pharmacy in Lomira, they noticed the front door had been damaged after a rock was thrown through it. The drawer in the cash register was missing and several shelves were empty where drugs were meant to be kept.

A loss prevention supervisor for Aurora told deputies that there had been problems with burglaries at several area Aurora Pharmacies during the past year. From surveillance footage, they knew that it was normally one person who did the burglaries. He normally wore a skull mask but had begun doing the burglaries with his face exposed.

The pharmacist had said that Hydrocodone had been taken from the pharmacy among other drugs. She told deputies that about $580 worth of drugs had been taken. The loss prevention supervisor had said about $6,000 worth of damage had been done to the building.

A DNA hit from the Kewaunee pharmacy that revealed the suspect was Graham.

According to the criminal complaint, Graham was transported to the Sheboygan Police Department for questioning but escaped and stole a highway truck.
