The blame game over the congressional supercommittee’s failure to cut the ballooning federal deficit will continue to play out on this Sunday’s television talk shows, with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and anti-tax activist Grover Norquist squaring off on NBC’s “ Meet the Press .”
Schumer is chairman of the Democratic Policy Committee, and Norquist is president of Americans for Tax Reform.

Supercommittee member Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) will make his case on ABC’s “ This Week .” Other guests include former Secretary of State Colin Powell; Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates; and actor Matt Damon, who is promoting water.org with co-founder Gary White.
And another supercommittee member, Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), is on “ Fox News Sunday ,” along with his Democratic counterpart, Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin.
