ACS to hire 300 in Tigard
Plans to hire 300 workers for its operations call center in Tigard.Dallas, Texas, ACS handles technical support calls and customer service for consumer electronics and technology companies. It was acquired in February 2010 for $ 6.4 billion in Norwalk, Connecticut-based Xerox (NYSE: XRX), which has a manufacturing operation in Wilsonville.
ACS has doubled the size of the operation of Oregon's existing call center earlier this year when he moved into the new manufacturing facility in Portland. It also operates a call center in Tualatin, which employs about 450 people.
Xerox and ACS combined employ about 3,500 people in Oregon, mainly in the greater Portland area.
