1910
• October 7, 1911: MTSU football (then Middle Tennessee Normal School) played the first recorded game, a 20-0 loss to Sewanee. The game is not included in the MTSU media guide, but it is on file at Sewanee. It was the last victory of Sewanee 10 years, 32 games home win streak.
