The Nikon Coolpix 880 slide copy adapter allows you to convert your slides and negatives into digital images if you have a Nikon Coolpix digital camera. Although the slide copy adapter works with all Coolpix cameras, it requires a Nikon step-down ring.

Reviews profit of 130 126 people found this review helpful. Nikon Slide Copy paper by Robert C. Burlingham Slide Copy Adapter (ES-E28) in the form of a 35 mm lens, but slightly larger. At the end screw on the lens Coolpix (despite the editorial review from Amazon, I do not need a step-down ring for my Coolpix 950), the other end is a sheet of opaque plastic lets light to pass thorugh. There is a slot in the side of the card when you insert a plastic slide or negative. These come with adapter.Amazon and many other sites have shown a box-shaped device in recent months. I do not know what this box is, but it looks nothing like my slide copy adapter (model # note above). Once the slides placed in the holder, slide holder and put the tab, you crop the image as you want to use the zoom and shutter button. The instructions that come with the camera settings preferred for best results. For best use, you must have a light box to backlight the slide in a uniform way to work out but I have not tried it as a bit 'cold in Chicago in February.It works fine, but I wish there was a cover each end to storage. The dull plastic could easily scratch or break in a camera bag and the opposite end is open, so dirt on the ad after a given time. I get a cloth bag to mine.If goal is to get one of these, I recommend also an AC adapter. 45 of 46 people found this review helpful. Love, but ... From a customer, I love, but do not expect the same result is achieved with a top of the line film scanner. You have to work a bit "more of themselves to get the right light. It works fine with a light table, cloudy or daylight. Sunlight works for negatives or slides dark. Just remember the color of light used to make a difference in the copy. If you use this outside of the lens to the sky (away from sunlight), where a white wall, or put a white sheet of paper or cardboard to the goal, and be aware of the place where your shadow is down otherwise you may get some unwanted background noise or shadow color in the copy I muddy it with a Coolpix 950 and have spectacular results with black and white copy negs and good results with color negs and slides. 37 of 39 customers found this review helpful. It's ok .... But from a customer, I bought this outfit in the hope of slides and photos of my copy with Coolpix 995th I can say he does a fair job if you get an even light behind the lens. If not ... Forget it. Then I saw the quality of a coolpix scanner, the scanned image. I am now saving for the scanner. My advice is if you are looking for a cheap easy way to negative transfer and get a decent quality is the ticket.I If its part will take time to explore many of your most precious memories you might want to purchase a high-end scanner See all 6 reviews ...
