thanksgiving community mass: St. Mary Church, 41 Harding Road, Monday, Nov. 21, 7 p.m. This Thanksgiving join family, friends and neighbors to gather around the Lord's table and give thanks for our bountiful blessings in a special Parish Community Mass. Following Mass, refreshments will be served in the Church Hall.
Thanksgiving Ecumenical Worship Service: Unitarian Memorial Church, 102 Green St., Tuesday, Nov. 22, 7 p.m. This updated service will feature your favorite harvest hymns, reflections on our blessings, and visual "centerpieces" to create focus. Fellowship and refreshment will follow the service. A freewill offering will benefit the Shepherd's Pantry. Church is handicap accessible. All are welcome.
FALL RIVER
INTErFAITH SERVICE: Notre Dame Church, 529 Eastern Ave., Tuesday, Nov. 15, 7 p.m. Sponsored by the Southcoast Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), the service is free and open to the public and will include a special blessing read in several languages, a children's story and a candlelighting. Organized by staff and volunteers, the service celebrates the lives of those who have passed and provides comfort for all who are grieving a loved one during the upcoming holiday season. An informal gathering with refreshments will immediately follow the service. To make a donation to Southcoast VNA in memory of your loved one, call (508) 973-3470. daughters of Isabella mass and meeting: Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 121 Mount Pleasant St., Tuesday, Nov. 15, 6 p.m. The Daughters of Isabella Hyacinth Circle will attend a Mass for deceased members of their organization, followed by a meeting in Holy Name Parish Hall. Light refreshments will be served after the meeting along with fellowship and fun. They are looking forward to seeing their present, past, and returning members.
