I'm powering the clock generator with a linear power supply from Teradak. The output voltage is set to 9.50V, using "special" silver cable.
OK, what do I think about the wordclock in general, the presentation is different, there are days when I think it's better, and there are days when I don't think it is. One rather disappointing aspect is using the above PSU, I do find the performance of the clock has dropped, I prefer the presentation using a normal unregulated 9V1A wallwart (with no load it's 15V)...
However, maybe the PSU do need some running in time as the device has caps, SMD and what not, and still has the "new car" smell. The bass seems to be different, but the width is totally gone.
